01 What's the difference between The Squad and The Lab?
The Squad gives you my swim sets, gym sets, and the monthly Q&A — the actual work, exactly as I do it. The Lab gives you everything in The Squad plus the raw data: my exact times, splits, weights, and intensities, plus block periodization, race analysis, race day protocols, nutrition, and deep dives. The Squad is the work. The Lab is the work, with the system attached.
02 Do I need to be an elite swimmer for this?
No. The McEvoy Method is for anyone serious about getting faster — masters athletes, age-group sprinters, club coaches, and competitive triathletes have all gotten value. The principles scale; the protocols are designed to be adapted, not copied blindly.
03 How much pool and gym access do I need?
Less than you'd think. The whole point of the McEvoy Method is that you get more from less — short, sharp, deliberate work paired with focused strength and mobility. If you can train three to five times per week with access to a 25m+ pool and a basic gym, you can run this system.
04 Why is volume so much lower than most prescribe?
Sprinting is a power event. High-volume aerobic work blunts the qualities that make sprinters fast — peak speed, neural drive, fast-twitch recruitment. Once you protect those qualities and train them with precision, you don't need the rest. The deep dives inside The Lab walk through the physiology in detail.
05 Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Both monthly and annual subscriptions can be cancelled from your account whenever you want — no friction, no hoops. Annual saves you money in exchange for a longer billing period; monthly is full pay-as-you-go.
